At our branch meeting on Thursday 18th December 2025, a new Interim Chair, Interim Secretary and Interim Treasurer were appointed following a vote by members of Your Party Swale.
Stuart Gaylor
Interim Chair and Treasurer
Stuart has served as the Interim Secretary of Your Party Swale from October 2025 to December 2025. Stuart was appointed Interim Chair and Treasurer by member vote in December 2025. He has been helping to support the branch through its early development and organisation. He attended the party’s founding conference in November 2025, playing an active role in shaping its direction from the very beginning.
A proud member of Unite the Union, Stuart is deeply committed to defending workers’ rights, promoting social justice and challenging inequality wherever he sees it. His focus is on building a fairer, more inclusive future for local people and ensuring that ordinary voices are heard in politics.
Michael Attwood
Interim Secretary
Michael Attwood was appointed Interim Secretary of Your Party Swale following a vote of the membership in December 2025.
A passionate and engaging speaker, Michael brings valuable organisational experience to the role, having previously served as a branch secretary. His background gives him a strong understanding of member-led structures, clear communication, and effective administration. Michael also attended the Your Party founding conference in November 2025.
Michael is also a member of USDAW, reflecting his commitment to representing working people and ensuring that members’ voices are heard and respected within the party.
